The Veen village talks were created on the initiative of the mayor Michael van Beek. Together with Irmgard Höpfner and Sascha van Beek, the format was implemented for the first time in 2018. In the meantime, the organization team has grown and a sponsoring association "Veener Village Talks eV" has emerged.
