Workshop 3: Climate protection suitable for the village

Climate - that is also an issue here in the region. Local climate protection always means climate adaptation. Both have to go hand in hand. Climate change can be felt by everyone based on phenomena such as heavy rain / floods, heat with extreme drought or erosion caused by wind and rain. How can local action protect our living environment directly? What can I do specifically?

Ms. Mosler is the managing director of RheWaTech gUG and has been working on international innovation projects for years. RheWaTech gUG has been accompanying the climate protection manager of the city of Xanten in the planning and implementation of climate protection measures, such as B. in the implementation of the climate advisory board and citizen participation.

EXPERT: LUUK MASSELINK

Luuk Masselink is the climate protection manager of the municipality of Alpen and in this function is responsible for the implementation of the goals of the climate protection project in the Alps. One focus of his current work is the application for and implementation of the energetic renovation of the secondary school.
